I am anxiously awaiting for my trip to St Thomas and St. Johns. We are planning to eat at zozo's for dinner. What would be appropriate attire for my lovely bride and I? We would like to be as casual as possible. I would like to wear a nice polo shirt with kaki pants and loafers. The misses would probably wear a cute sundress or skirt. Is this ok? Thanks
Cruise,
Your proposed attire will be entirely fine, not only for Zozo's but virtually anywhere on the island. In fact, I usually forego the slacks and just wear nice shorts and I've never felt under-dressed nor had my money refused because of it! 🙂
Have fun!
Regan
P.S. For just the two of you, the bar on the upper level of Zozo's features a fantastic view of the sunset over St. Thomas, and serves dinner right there at the bar.
Cruise,
My daughter and I ate a Zozo's while staying at Gallow's Point last July. I wore a sundress and she wore shorts, but I made a conscious effort to size up what everyone else was wearing, so that I could make an informed decision about what to pack on our next trip.
I found the diners to be much less dressed up that I expected. It was quite hot and I believe all the men wore shorts. Most had polo type shirts on but many just wore a regular T-shirt. Most of the women wore capri's or a very casual dress. There was a table or two that I would call scuzzy looking (for a place like Zozo's)and they were treated as well as anyone else,
You've made a good choice to dine at ZoZo's. Attire is casual and the food great. Make sure you have a reservation, even in off season.
