I AM GOING TO THE WYNDHAM IN NOVEMBER WITH A FEW FRIENDS. HAVE HEARD POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE REPORTS. ANYBODY ELSE HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD.

People tend to either really like this resort or really dislike it depending on what they are looking for.
If you want a nice place on a smallish beach with lots of activities, unlimited food and drink included in the price....where you can stay and not have to ever leave the resort.....this is a really good choice. There's plenty of food, but it is nowhere near being the best available on the island.....but it lets you know going in what you will spend for food and drink.
If you want a small, relatively quiet, "island-type" place with rooms right on a beautiful beach where you can walk out of your room and be right on the sand, this is probably not the place for you.
Like all resorts on the island it has advantages and disadvantages. What's important to you will determine whether or not it was a good choice.
