Has anyone stayed at the Wyndham lately or heard any news regarding their resort in St. Thomas? We will be there in 3 weeks and I can't get them to answer any of my emails.

I appreciate the help

I've stayed at the Wyndham before. Ditto on everything 'Landlocked said' There is daily maid service, and they have always done a great job and cleaned thoroughly. The shuttle runs from the main lobby area, to the pool/beach area, to the spa/golf areas and to the parking lot (hubby used to drop us off at the lobby with our rental and then drive to the lot and take the shuttle up) You get beach towel cards when you check in, you can exchange dirty towels for clean, etc, and get the card back when you return the towels so you can check out. Food was good, buffet was interesting, drinks were great. Breakfast was good too... their pizza which is served in the evening by the pool is excellent as weird as that sounds 🙂 Relax, it really is a nice place, and I agree on the comment about not taking the all inclusive since you would be missing out if you didn't explore the island, and wouldn't want to be rushing back to the resort just to eat... 🙂 ENJOY!!!

check out this day sail site.

It's $125 per person if you charge it and $115 if you pay in cash.

If anyone has done this trip - please let me know. Would love to hear about your experiences.

I stayed there twice when I started traveling to the USVI.

Pros- Rooms were nice and were cleaned everyday. The restaurants were good especially the Main Dining Area. The view from the restaurant is amazing as you can see STJ. Also, I must add the breakfast is very good. They have golf carts/shuttle cars that will pick you up and drop you off anywhere on the resort. Staff was friendly, and I did see a wedding take place there which was very beautiful.

Cons- There isnt much of a beach there. Its very rocky and shallow. The walk from your room to the pool is far (basically its down many steps). In that case, take the shuttle if you dont want to walk up and down the steps. Other than that I cant think of anything bad.

* Good thing is the Wyndham is only less than 2 miles from Red Hook, so if your going on a daysail or going to STJ for the day, its not a far drive. I would rent a car definately.

***Whoever has reservations there, have a good time and let us know what you thought when you come back...
