The Tigers played terrible the entire week. They didn't deserve to win it. I think sweeping in 4 games like that hurts you the next week. Maybe its having too long to sit around thinking about it.

As a Cards fan living in the St. Louis metro area, we thank you. My husband, son and grandson went to the Wed. game and got rained out, ended up at Fridays game. I thought that neither game was a real blow- out and think the Tigers should be proud of thier efforts. Great Games!!! This city is electric today.

i'M in Spfld IL, But born/bred in the St. Louis area. Been a Cards fan since I learned what baseball was, even after the years just after Whitey left. I'm just glad to say I've seen them take it twice in my lifetime!

I, too, am in Springfield, IL, and a huge Cardinals fan. What a grand celebration it was today in St. Louis. You can bet I'll be wearing my 2006 World Series Champions shirt when I get to St. Thomas in three weeks.

Tamlyn63, I live just 5 minutes north of Chatham on Westchester Blvd - two blocks off of Veterans Parkway (Rt.4) at the Parkway Pointe traffic light. We're heading to the Islands three weeks from today for about 3 weeks. I can hardly wait.

First good news is they win the world series. Second bit of news is that St Louis is the most dangerous city in the USA.

Yeah!!!! GO CARDS! I'm in Ballwin (West St. Louis in the County) where neighboorhoods are safe. The dangerous areas are in the city and E St. Louis, IL.

I watched more baseball in 2 weeks than in my entire life! Gotta love it!

We always stay on St. Thomas because there is a better selection of restaurants and grocery stores there plus the shopping in Charlotte Amalie is great. But we will take the ferry to St. John several times and probably will go to Jost at least once. We rent a villa on the St. Thomas north shore and will be close to Hull Bay and Magens Bay,
plus we will be close to some of our favorite restaurants there: Indigo for lunch, Deano's, North Drop, Sib's on the Mountain, Toad & Tart. We also enjoy going to Water Island where we usually have Honeymoon Beach to ourselves for most of the day. We're in our early 60s so we relish a lot of privacy and enjoy just relaxing at the villa pool but we also always explore the islands and do a lot of the "touristy" things. A guy has to do something to pass the time until the Cardinals suit up again in February in Jupiter, FL. Enjoy Disney!!!

Thank God for airport security! All of you people from STL visiting the USVI can't be good for the USVI trying to improve its image when it comes to crime. The question of the day is, "When the people from STL buy their guns and knives in the USVI to practice their mayhem, does it help or hurt the USVI economy?"

I'm allowed to say this in jest because I'm from METRO Detroit, specifically Royal Oak, the home of Jack Kevorkian and one of the first postal shootings in 1991, and now home to thousands of Yuppies and Gen-Xers.

Congratulations to the Cardinals. I just wish the Tigers would have shown up to make it a competitive series. But that's Larussa's fault because he ratted out Kenny Rogers. If he didn't do that then all the Tiger pitchers would have been wearing pine tar and not have committed so many errors.

Thanks Che'!
I have to say also, i'M familiar w/ Westchester, as I used to live on Autstin Dr. (newer part) years ago. My family has a pool/spa business (Aqualand), that I manage, just west of Parkway Point .
We've been to Indigo's, too and loved it. Haven't had the oppurtunity to do STJ or Water yet, but look forward to that next time. We did get to do BVI day trip on New Horizon's II which I can't say enough how much fun we had.
Enjoy your trip!
