Coming back to work today is just the worse. I will get a trip report out there soon, promise. I'm exhausted after getting in after midnight and then not being about to sleep.

We had great weather, nobody got hurt (well sort of, that story will come later):-)....good times.

Connie - Welcome Back!! Sounds like you had a great time! Can't wait for the trip report!

BTW, nice post over on the other forum! I agree with you - if you want to see STT you have to get off the fast track to the ferries and really see the place. I read something some place awhile back - it was a piece about the beauty of STT called "Take the left turn" cuz if you just take a left turn on STT coming from the airport rather than making a beeline for the ferry you will see so much gorgeous scenery.

I am still going to work on you to try STX - can't wait to get back in April.

Connie,
It took me three efforts (and about 5 hours) to finish my TR. I think I mentioned that I'm not too computer savvy. On the other forum, I took @ 1-2 hours putting my notes together. Just when I tried to submit it, I clicked the wrong button (I'm a bacon brain!), and it was deleted.
I tried again today, and the same thing happened. MORON! And I was SOBER!!!
Then I finally took another shot, and that's what you got. The other 2 drafts were more action packed, accurate, and actually funny. The last one I just wanted to make sure that i didn't delete it again (after @ 5 1/2 hours in front of the computer), and didn't check for type-o's.
Take your time!
Let's plan a get together!
Smiles-
Jimmy

Hey Jim, right now I'm getting some pictures uploaded, so that takes time. Getting bad is really hell. So many normal things like laundry, work and trying relax a little at home.

So.....i'm working on the trip report!

Yeah, we'll try to get together!

Welcome back Connie and MJ!

Connie, glad you had a good time. You stayed on both STT and STJ this trip right?

MJ how did your new underwater camera work out?

Look forward to your trip reports and photos.

mahojim, You know I have had the same thing happen by switching back to the forum for a second or whatever. At any rate what I now do is before I click any post buttons or anything else for that matter, I right click and "copy" the entire post just in the event something goes wrong you can "paste' it right back into the post section. Just right click and copy again for the same reasons.
