We will be heading down to STJ in a couple weeks with a bunch of friends. Last night when we were all together getting our plans finalized, someone asked about the prices for bottles of wine down there. I know booze is much cheaper then here (OH), but what about a bottle of wine? Say a zin or marlot? Nothing special.
Thanks!
Tammy
WINE IS ABOUT THE SAME PRICE AS THE MAIN LAND. NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE HERE. WE BUY IT AT COST YOU LESS OR PRICE MART
I DON'T KNOW ABOT THE BETTER WINES AS MY POCKET DOES NOT GO THERE VERY OFTEN.

In Red Hook across from Marina Mkt. is a nice new wine store with excellent prices and good discounts on case purchases - will mix 12 bottles.
There is a very nice wine shop on STJ
They cover the gamit from chapalized Yellow Tail at 7.99 to 1st growth 1982 Bordeaux for $1500 and everything in between
Definitely not worth carrying.
Food Center carries Cline Zinfandel $12.99. Also Red Truck as well as some of their more expensive offerings. I am a big Cline fan. (tu)
We spend $6.99 - $8.99 a bottle on our charter guests and the selection is decent.
