the prevailing winds on stt tend to make ritz windy and belongo not much wind. on a side note... neither beach is much to write home about. try secret harbor, no wind, great beach

sapphire can be windy at times especially durring the christmas winds of dec. and jan. but for the most part not to bad. coki usually very calm. one good thing about islands is that if its windy on one side you can drive to the other side.

Dawn: The prevailing winds are from the east. If you get a map of the island, you will see which beaches tend to have more wind. Now, sometimes the wind is north of east, sometimes it is south of east. Hmm, confused? In April, you might have a 10-15 mph breeze. It will keep you cool and make the day more pleasant. If for some reason it is too windy on Sapphire, go over to the other side of the island!

Don't worry! Be happy!!
