Hi !
My husband and I are heading to STThomas in two weeks... can't wait !!! After reading of all your experiences I was wondering if there is anything you wish you had brought with you that you didn't know enough to bring until you got there ???
We will be bringing all the basics for a vacation (clothes, toiletries, camera, etc....)... and I picked up a tip from one of these messages to bring bionoculars (thank you)... so if you can think of anything let me know 🙂
Thanks a bunch !!!

From a dear friend that loves to shop - here's something very important to bring/not to bring (as the case may be).........ROOM IN YOUR SUITCASE (as in empty room in it) for all the stuff you'll buy and want to take home!!!!!
Seriously reccommend NOT overpacking too many clothes. You'll find that you don't need lots and lots of outfits. You'll be too busy having a great time to worry about what you're wearing.
If you are like us and still had a film camera, get a digital. Make sure you get the shot you want before you leave.
In all of the trips that we've taken to the Caribbean, I always wonder why I always took so much clothing. 4 t-shirts, 2 nice tops, 2 pairs of shorts, a pair of capris, a sundress, 4 swimsuits, underwear, & toiletries (esp. sunscreen). It's all you need! I work in the jewelry business - and I now only take 2 pairs of earrings!! So easy......
Who are we there to impress? It's a vacation, right?
Krispy Kremes. A family member moved to St Thomas last year and it was the only thing he asked us to bring when we visited. And, he's a chef!
