My wife and I went on a cruise last year and visited St Thomas and love it!

We are going for about 10 days and staying at Sapphire Beach at the Antilles.

Any suggestions on where to eat?
Is there a grocery store near by?
Is there a gym nearby?

We plan on being beach bums and have a very loose itinerary...but we would love some recommendations..

Thanks everyone!
We have both enjoyed reading the posts.

Is there anywhere we HAVE TO go to?

Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matthew,

The restaurant at the pool up by the Sapphire condos, Azure, is good. The live band beach party on Sunday afternoons at Sapphire is worth going to. Blue Moon Cafe at Secret Harbor is good. Banana Tree Grill at Bluebeards Castle is nice for a romantic dinner. Hook, Line & Sinker and Sibs are good for a casual meal, Iggies at Bolongo too - and their Caribbean show is nice. Paradise Point for happy hour is good. Downtown shopping you can try some local dishes at Lillians, Cuzzins or Gladys. If you don't want to try local food, Cafe Amici is good. Ahhhh so many place to eat!!

There are grocery stores in the area, a short drive.

I don't know about the gym... not sure if Sapphire has one if that is what you were asking?

Anywhere you have to go - beach hop, snorkel, take a dive trip (introductory if you aren't certified or night dive/wreck dive if you are), eat out a few times, take a trip to the National Park on St. John.
