I LOVE WI and am interested in all of the history I can get my hands on. Any good books written about the island?
What is the story on the Fort like building top side anyway? Have the archiological dig sites been preserved. Have the arch.dig sites been preserved? I would like to learn all I can and would appreciate any tips available.
Thanks again!!!!

I found information on the dig on this site. I was hoping to locate any written books on WI specifically. Thank you for your referral to the site . I thought I might research the team which conducted the dig and attempt to back into more information from them possibly. Thanks again

I started there and ended on the site below. I will continue to search the internet and my library. Perhaps I'll get more info. on the military use as well. Thanks so much

On our property, Flamingo Point Estate (on WI) we have a Ft. Segarro Lookout Post . We are interested in restoring it to its original "glory". Does anyone know where I could acquire diagrams or the original specifications?

If I should locate any information regarding it's original structure and design I will certainly email you with this info. I will continue to do some more research and be in touch.
