Which island has the best watersport? In particular waverunners?
ocean
I know not STX and I'm guessing not STJ (too much park-protected beach area). Don't know about STT. I'm guessing wave runners are not big anywhere in the VI -- our reef system is pretty close to shore.
The best place for waverunners is Florida! 😉
I second eastender's comments, keep them in Florida.....
C'mon you guys! They're noisy. They're smoky. They are usually driven by folks who have no knowledge of the rules and responsibilities of boating. We don't need any more PWC in Florida!
At this time of year lake Michigan is a great place for waverunners 🙂
OUTLAW THEM,,,,,, EVERYWHERE
Wow! Didn't mean to start a revolution! Although... Hmmm...
Ocean, to be honest, there are all kinds of watersports on St Thomas. Waverunners are usually guided tours, which makes them less attractive to most people who like waverunners! How about another form of fun on the water? There is a kayak tour, a dinghy tour, parasailing, or you can rent a 20 foot runabout and see some other islands, you can rent Hobie Cats, go on a day sail, etc. Then there are the more strenuous sports like wind surfing and kite boarding.
