which is the most beautiful island?
Much like asking for the most beautiful woman, painting, etc. To each his own.
My vote is STJ, but certainly limimted to MHO.
MHO. Both are great! St John is beautiful for standing on land and looking toward the water in the bays & beaches. STJ being VERY steep with tree covered hills. St Croix has beautiful views inland & seaward. More wide open views. The hills are spaced apart more and more varied vegetation.
What does MHO refer to?
MHO= My humble opinion. Alternately IMHO= In my humble....
imho....st thomas...i fell in love with it back in 1972
and then st john and then tortola and then barbados and then turks and caicos and then mustique and then figi and then bali and then.....back to st thomas it was the best all along
St. John, all the way. I was talking to my "host" at the cottage we stay at each year, and we were comparing islands. She had recently been to Belize, and she stated that she went to the beach, looked around, and said yeah, this is nice, and then went back to STJ's beaches. No comparison, she said. While I haven't been to Belize, I have been to the Bahamas, and basically said the same thing to myself. So IMHO, STJ is THE place.
Can someone give me an idea what Tortola is about. How does it compare to St Thomas and St Johns? We throughly enjoyed our trip to St Thomas/St Johns in Jan and was wondering about Tortola. Thanks for any opinions.
