Hello KKD,

About 40 miles between St. Thomas & St. Croix.

Which is better is completely subject to opinion and opinions would be easier if we knew what you were looking for; vacation, business trip, honeymoon, family vacation, fishing, beaches, nightlife, dining, shopping, diving. Give us more information and perhaps folks can throw in their 2 cents to help with your planning.

You can and should read up on each island, you can use the links at the top of this page for each of the island guides. Also you could pick up a book like Explore the Virgin Islands, which covers all four US Virgin Islands and also the British Virgin Islands so that would definitely help you decide which one you might want to visit.
