i have narrowed our day sail down to stjohndaysail the nightwind and oh be joyful they are both around the same price and they both have more than 6 people passengers, we have 8, my question is has anyone sailed with either of these and how were they, also which one is easier to get to from the where our carnival ship docks?

OOPS! Sandspur is not a sail boat. Another one in STT is NEW HORIZONS. Very nice sailboat over 6 passenger.
thanks for the infor, i have checked out the new horizon, but it looked like they took alot of people we kind of just wanted our own family
Carnival ships usually dock in Havensight. I think Nightwind sails from Sapphire Beach marina, which is about a 17-20 minute drive in low/moderate traffic from Havensight and $10 for taxi fare, per person, one way. Not sure where Oh Be Joyful starts.

Capt. Steve Marsh on Nightwind is the best. The boat is a lovely classic and you would love it. He leaves from Sapphire Beach marina, less loony than the American Yacht Harbor....go with him, you won't be sorry. Tell him Margo said so.
I think Oh Be Joyful is still a six pack boat..no more than six (6) passengers, legally.
Day Sail:
There is a big differance in the quality of Day Sails on ST. Thomas. If price is all your concerned about then do any sail.
