...place a web cam in the USVI
Here is where I would put mine. The American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook
Something alway going on, and I would be sitting at Sopchoppy's or Molly's watching the day begin.
Great place to have a webcam Tom :o) Nice pic.
I think it would be fun to watch on those cold rainy days on the East Coast.
Hope others have a suggestions for possible sites
Would love for someone at AYH sponosor a webcam.
How about at the airport at STT so we can see the comings and goings?
Shopchoppies is gone. It is now Island Time Pub!!!
I heard that but did not know the name of the new bar.
It still would be a great location for a webcam.
Got another idea - how about a webcam on the bow of the ferry as it goes back and forth between Red Hook and STJ
Us stuck at desk in cold climates need a better choice of webcams in the VI
Come folks post your view in pic or word format that you want to see at your desk!
Any other suggestions for a webcam on any of the USVI islands?

On top of Subway - downtown Cruz Bay
And let the viewers control where it points and zooms 😉
Just back - trip report soon

Tom I had to laugh. Letting the viewers control where it points could be BIG trouble.
Can't wait for your trip report!
Great idea (tu)
If we all need a laugh, how about one on the hair pin turn to Mountain Top or even Donkey Hill - just to watch all the first timer's to the island? I know I screemed the first time up and down those hills and turns . Heck, I can remember thinking who's horn broke - and then we knew why! Coming down from Mt. Top, we made the hair pin turn just as a cement truck was coming up 😛 So, if you hear a horn, stop, look, and listen!
Or
From Mafolie to watch the ships depart, at sunset. Yea, that's the place to have a coctail while watching Charlotte Amalie come alive at night.
I can still recall experiencing all of these locations the first time around - 20 years ago *-)
How about Iggies - or Woodys?
Better yet.....The Soggy Dollar in White Bay on Jost......on a Saturday afternoon.
Very, very scary stuff. HA!
Cheers.
