I see they are having fireworks on sat April 27 for carnival. Where would be a good place to watch them from? How long of a taxi ride is saphire beach to Charlotte Amalie? Thanks

Up high looking to the South side of the island or right from the waterfront in town. The fireworks usually start around 9PM. Taxi from Sapphire to town is $10 per person. If you're not renting a car while here you'll probably want to check the taxi prices:

Watch them from the water front if you are in town.
The fireworks barge usually anchors close to Hassle Island and you'll see them directly overhead.
Hope they don't start a fire on Hassle Island, again!
