Will you be renting a car?
Wife and I spent one night at Cinnamon Bay Campground when our villa was not ready. Affordable (think we paid $90 for a cottage) and clean with a KILLER beach steps away. Check out their web site..... www.cinnamonbay.com
I am not a local but recommend the Inn at Tamarincd Court, nice clean reasonably priced a cozy place
We just got back from 4 nights at Estate Linholm. Really nice people and a great location.

My husband and I also stayed at Estate Lindholm last year and it was perfect! Brion and Lauren (owners) were delightful and made our stay so perfect. I am pretty picky and did not want to stay in hotel such as Westin -- we wanted something a little more quaint! I would suggest renting a car to explore the island and hop around to the different beaches!
