*Planning a vacation to St. Thomas in late May and would like to know if booking a vacation package to the Crystal Cove for 5 people which would mean 2 rooms be a better option or should I look for a rental (condo or home)? With 5 people (3 adults 2 teenagers) I am looking for a nice place, but still reasonable price wise.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Most activities will be snorkling.

I'll be able to tell you more in 10 days. We have 8 days there beginning Sunday.
BTW, if you do book Crystal Cove, be sure and call ahead a few days ahead of departure to let them know your arrival time. The Crystal Cove rentals are evidently owned by individuals and the rental arrangements are managed by Antilles Properties. There is no "check in desk" or "front offices" from what I understand. Antilles must arrange to have someone meet you and let you into your unit.
You could search the board for a thread from last week by a "Dave" who spent a week at Sapphire Beach Resort, which is on the same Beach, but with different managers.
