I have been reading many travel reviews on the net and it seems that wynham is not what it seems, am i wrong in my assupmtion? Me and my friends (17, 18, 19, 21 years) are looking for an all inclusive hotel, and i know the selection is limited in St. Thomas. I loved how the wynham looked and what it included but from all the travel reviews i'm reluctant to consider it, the other place is bolongo beach which does seem as fancy as wynham, but decent enough for the price. I really don't want to pay the wynham price and not be statisfied because of the service or other accomodations or lack of them. From what i read there are long lines at the bars and resturant with the house restaurant requiring a reservation and with poor hospitality. Beach is small and rocky, and pool is dirty. all of this sounds very disappointing at a hotel that looks very promising. I heard bolongo is small and with dirty rooms. Is there no hope for a good all inclusive hotel in st. thomas. My friends and I don't want to be treated like kings, but would enjoy decent service, and for the price that wynham charges i would expect it. I would appreciate any suggestions, stories, or recomendations that anyone could offer.

I live on St. Thomas and often go to Bolongo restaurants and beach. The beach is nice for snorkeling and swimming and has water sports available as well. Wyndham's beach is not one I would ever go to (too rocky and small) although the pool is great. My family stayed at one of the 2 bedroom condos at Bolongo and were very happy. Great views and a nice large clean room. Wyndham is a nice hotel but if it was my money I would stay at Bolongo.

Also, judging from your ages, I think that Bolongo would be more your style. They have beach volleyball and basketball courts, a fun beach bar and a kareoke spot. They recently had "sumo wrestling" matches that were heavily attended by locals of your age. Sugar Bay tends to be couples and families...
