I am looking for a nice safe place to spend two weeks next Summer with my Grandaughters. They are young teens. Thinking about the RITZ,is it safe to go out
at nite--during the day, taxi, ect. Going end of June.

If you can afford to stay at the Ritz, I would recommendi t. It's not quite like the Ritz's in the States, but it's a really nice place.

As far as safety goes, if you don't put yourself in any shaddy situations, you won't have any problems. I've been here 7 years and not had one incident. Just use your head like you would at home (don't go down a dark alley at 2 a.m.) and there will be no problems.

Hello Terry,

Sure you can go out during the day, use taxis or rent a car and drive yourself around and definately go out at night - lots of great restaurants here, fun happy hours, live entertainment/bands.

Terry,

You should consider Caneel Bay too. It is absolutely fabulous for family with kids, and the property has seven fabulous beaches. The hotel shuttle will take you to the various beaches.
