Down my list of "to enjoy" on vacation is food. What type of eating places are available and what type of food do they serve (I'm not traveling to eat burgers and fries). It doesn't have to be expensive, most of best places I found are small out of way. I'll try almost anything.I have not found listing of resturants on St. Thomas. Thanks

What? No listing of restaurants?! While there are all kinds of restaurants on St Thomas, here is my mini-list:

Cuzzin's (downtown): for conch!
Bella Blu (Frenchtown): for schnitzel or tuna tartar
Hook, Line and Sinker (also Frenchtown): Almond crusted Yellow tail snapper!
Roy Schneider Hospital cafeteria (sugar Estate): for West Indian specialties- huge portions and you can get take out.
Randy's (on Raphune Hill): for anything on the menu and pick your wine by the bottle from the "cellar"
Restaurant Azure (at Sapphire Village): Thursday is Thai night, fresh fish other nights.
Old Stone Farmhouse (near Mahogany Run): I think they have a great menu, but I always get sushi!
Robert's (at the Elysian): She-crab soup! BBQ shrimp and grits. Great piano bar.
Bottom's Up (at Independent Boat Yard): OOPS, you didn't want a burger! But they also have great and reasonable specialties like prime rib, meat loaf, etc.
Marina Market Deli(Red Hook): for your picnic lunch!

East Ender took a deep breath and brought forth:

"Roy Schneider Hospital cafeteria (sugar Estate): for West Indian specialties- huge portions and you can get take out."

I gotta tellya, the RLS Hospital has some of the best food in the world. I've almost broken a leg getting to it, it's so tasty. But then, that might be a GOOD thing *yum!*

You must go to Frenchtown - there is a place that sits overlooking the marina, not fancy, but where the locals go (a local told us about it)... unfortunatey we found it just the day before we left - it was great, the best snapper I have ever had... we went there to grab our last meal before our flight left and again a wonderful lunch - I think it was tuna. Maybe it is the Hook,Line and Sinker - I'm sorry I can't remember the name for sure. I would have eaten all my meals there!
