Planning a trip in early December to St. Thomas. Where would ya'll recommend that we MUST eat at while in St. Thomas, St. John, or Tortola/Virgin Gorda?

Thanks - Mandy

Hello Mandy,

On St. Thomas: for lunch; Tickles, Hook Line & Sinker, Cafe Amici, Cuzzins, Blue Moon Cafe. For Happy Hour - Greenhouse, Paradise Point. For nice dinner - Banana Tree Grill, Fagiolis, Craig & Sallys, Noche and for a casual setting/good dinner - Sibs, The Northdrop, Iggies. For a neat Caribbean show with buffet - Bolongo Bay Resort.

Lots of choices. Other suggestions? Favorites?

Okay, IMHO:

St Thomas: best food- Old Stone Farmhouse, Randy's, Oceana, Bella Blu.
Best casual: Hook, Line and Sinker, Cuzzin's, Pizza Amore. East end/Red Hook: Azure, Robert's, Molly Molone's, Pirate's Cove (pizza),.

St John: Tage (okay, I haven't tried Ten Tables yet!)

Tortola: I am not impressed with the food there, but I have heard that Brandywine is the exception. Pusser's or Jolly Roger in West End to watch the boats.Watch out at Cane Garden Bay! Several places have been running a scam putting a tax on the bill and insisting it is a tax instead of a service charge.

Virgin Gorda: Again, not crazy about their food for the most part, but love the tacos at Saba Rock, have heard good things about Georgio's and the new Leverick Bay. The Virgin Queen at Little Dix for casual.

My husband and I always enjoy Room with a View. Food is always sensational along with the service and atmosphere.

Hey guys,
try Chloe and Bernards at the Westin.
I will be minding the shop and my new menu will be pretty good. Im hoping to get on the tips of peoples tongues. If you wanna see some pictures of my food, go to chefcody.com or the company website is www.stjohnrestaurants.com(doesnt have my new menu but it will be running in a week)

I really take care of my food and I really am passionate about it. I do invite locals to come and mention my name and we'll make sure you get the VIP treatment.

I have to agree with the fact that Chloe & Bernard's is just awesome. Not just the cuisine, but the ambience is beyond wonderful. Presentation of the food was also great when we visited last Thanksgiving.

Try the Sugar Mill on Tortola. We haven't eaten there in a while, but it was excellent!

I personally enjoyed Cuzzin's on Main Street in Charlotte Amalie for west indian food, Virgilio's for Northern Italian (one night they even had a harpist!), and Craig and Sally's for eclectic, gourmet food. Enjoy your trip!
