I have been to Stt several times and would like to know where do the locals party? I'm looking for more of a club atmosphere, not a bar restaurant. A long time ago I went to a nightclub high up in the mountains, it had two levels, glass walls that looked out into the mountains and I think a pool outside. It was destroyed by a hurricane at least 15 years ago. But that is the kind of club that I am looking for. I also went to a club that was connected to the Sugar Mill Restaurant. Is that still open? I'm pretty comfortable driving at night. Thanks for the help.

[Lattitude 18 is located on the map I made....we went there at night, had no trouble finding it...but we planned it in advance and looked at where the read is that we needed to turn on....it is down a long dirt road...not too hard to find really...

I put a bunch of bars/nightspots on this map....it may help.

Lovely: What time of year are you visiting? From January to March or early April, you would go when Dick Solberg, the Sun Mountain Fiddler, plays. This time of year, call and ask when they have music and who is playing.

Latitude 18! Monday night The Becca Darlin Band rocks, Tuesday is Jason Jones Band, Wed. Eric Stone plays, Thursday is Open Mic Night with Barefoot Davis, Friday is Jason Jones, Saturday can be any number of great local bands, Sunday is the wonderful sound of Ras Abijah. Never a dull moment though you will be here during our slow season. Come by during the day and do a recon of the road and have a frosty Miller Lite or rum drink at the bar.
