Which place would you take the most wonderful girl in the world for dinner, based on quality of food, view and romance? Tavern on the Beach, Windows on the Harbor (both at he Marriott) or Agave Terrace. Thanks.

I hate to answer a question with a question, but why are you interested on taking my wife out to dinner, and shouldn't you ask me if I mind first?

Now, now, Chris, I believe this is a family channel.

Hi There,

Up until my latest dinner there last month, I would have said Agave Terrace. My recommendation now would be to head to the Old Stone Farmhouse and try the chef's tasting menu for the evening.

I like Banana Tree Grill for food, view and atmosphere... Old Stone Farm House is a great choice like Schultz said... Windows on the Harbor is nice.

I would never entertain anyone at Agave Terrace! Go to Banana Tree Grille and start off with the Bacon-Wrapped Horseradish Shrimp! I'm still dreaming about it!

The Old Stone Farmhouse is quite romantic and the dining is superb! You will definitely enjoy your evening. You may not have a view (depends on what time you go--there is no ighting on outside at night near the golf course) but the indoor ambience will make up for that. Romano's is also very nice and the food is delicious.

Have been to the Agave on each visit to St. Thomas, and find it less and less enjoyable each time.

Enoy your dinner wherever you choose to go!

Sorry.

My message was taken the wrong way, I suppose.

We're all friends here; I was just feigning confusion about the 'most wonderful girl in the world' being my wife, etc.

Nothing 'non-family' suited was implied.

Bill: Of the three on your list, I'd pick Tavern on the Beach. Old Stone Farmhouse, Banana Tree, Blue Moon would be other choices.

I like Sib's for a quiet romantic evening on the gazebo with my lovely bride or with a group of friends.
