What type of restaurant / retail store / service do you miss the most from the states?

I miss big, gigantic bookstores. Amazon is great, but nothing beats a bookstore!

Wide lined parking spots, that are free, and are pretty close to where you are going.

Are you asking visitors to the VI what they miss about home? Because I think the idea of travel is to have new experiences, isn't it??:S

Actually pretty much the same thread has been started a few times on the relocation forum (which is where this should be posted) so you might want to hop on there and take a look.

Just my opinion, but the words "Good" and "Mexican restaurant" are NEVER in the same sentence.8-)

A real grocery store, not run by criminals and stocked with rotten overpriced food, and draught beer.

Not having to keep all my food in the frig so it doesn't go stale in 2 days. Milk that doesn't have an expiration date 2 days from when you buy it.

I thought Jay meant the store had rotten overpriced food AND draught beer. Criminals or not I was going to check out the beer.

Yes I miss Draught beer, as for the Grocery store I was refering to Pueblo. See link
Publo Plee Deal

I try not to shop there when I don't have to but living on this end of the island it can be a PIA to get to Cost U Less or Plaza Extra when you need a few items.

I missed my work truck and tools. If I had them with me on St Croix, I would never have returned to the states.
