Hello,

Basically i want to go to Magens Bay, and a little shopping. Would this be a decent choice ?

Those are two of the top choices in St Thomas! I am gathering you will be on a cruise ship? You can get a cab into town for shopping and maybe lunch, then plenty of cabs to take you out to Magen's. Have a wonderful trip.

Magen's Bay can be combined with an island tour - if you are interested. An island tour is usually about $30 for one or two persons for 1 1/2 hours to two hours. And then you can go to Magen's Bay after seeing some of the island. Sit on Magens and have some drinks, there is a beach waiter/waitress that can bring them to you or you can walk along and get something. Then swim enjoy the water. Rinse off there and then head to Havensight or CA and do some shopping before getting on the ship/ If you shop first you will have to go to the ship to leave your purchases there rather than dragging them along to the beach. So this extra step of brining purchases to the ship then to the beach will waste some of your precious time on St. Thomas. Enjoy the islands and your cruise - Happy Planning.
