Hi,

I was in STT twice in the past (in my military years). During the last visit(1992), a friend and I found a small bar right near the Red Hook ferry dock called Piccolos. We stopped in there and had a few drinks and some relaxing conversation with the bartender, who was from Chicago. Interestingly enough, my friend was from IL also so the bartender gave us a few drinks "on the house".

My wife and I are going back to the island for 2 weeks in June and I would like to go back to Piccolos, however, I haven't seen it anywhere on the net. I understand the in these tourist meccas businesses (especially small ones) change hands or close quite frequently, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Piccolos is still in business or has a new name. Mind you that I'm not just looking for the free drinks; I actually liked the place a lot.
