Whatever happened to the hotel that was on water island....we live there on the island back in the 70's...just wondering????

It was destroyed in a Hurricane. The remains cleaned up or down however you want to look at it. Property not rebuilt, turned over to the government. Right now there is nothing there, you can see where the tennis courts were and a couple walls and steps.
