what bank to use St Thomas?

Currently going to start work on the 28th of December in St Thomas, probably I will stay for 6months up to a year or even more. I have Chase here in Texas but I would like to switch to a bank that local there so I don't get charged fees in the ATM if I withdraw cash. Any suggestions on what to use?i would really appreciate any feedback

I have used Chase on past visits to the islands. Check with them because I believe they are still on the St. Thomas.

Chase is no longer here. Off the top of my head we have FirstBank, ScotiaBank and Banco Popular.

Scotia has been known NOT to charge ATM fees but not sure at this post. We maintain our stateside bank and continue all online banking through there. Only keep a local bank for convenience....most do not have the same capabilities as stateside.

We use Banco Popular for everything and have been mostly pleased by the service.
