Hi everyone, we are going to St John October 15th and would like to know the best restaurants to eat. We are staying near Cruz Bay but dont mind driving as we will have a car. We really are looking forward to eating good fresh seafood, especially lobster. Please recommend some of the best seafood places in St John. Thanks for your info in advance.

Thanks for the comments Chris- we leave in one week and I appreciate a good review or two on where real food can be found. Must be a chef-foodie thing!

I would highly recommend Choloe and Bernards. I was the chef there and Tim Morrel is my old Sous chef. He did a great job and I was glad the company promoted him to take over the head spot. He is a young guy but he lives and dies for food so you really can't go wrong at Chloes.

I second Chloe and Bernard's. I had one of the best meals on STJ there and it was prepared by Tim. Hope all is well with you, Chris.
By the way it was a seafood dish. Not inexpensive but everything about it is high class. The wait staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The ambiance cannot be beat.

I had to move to Minnesota for personal reasons. I did some consulting and now I am searching the job scene in Minneapolis for something high end. IT's kind of wierd in that respect because I've never been a player in the scene and it's almost like moving to a new city even though I grew up there.
Pay Tim a visit and tell him that I sent you and he will take care of you. Make sure and tell me how it goes. 😉
