NO NEED to shout...

We stayed at the Westin two years ago. Very nice, upscale resort. Nicely finished rooms, everything you would expect in a modern resort. Big pool, several restaurants and bars. Resort has its own beach with water sports...beach chairs, sailboats, water bikes, big trampoline, etc. There is a dock for the occasional ferry and day trip sails. Nice health club, deli (morning rolls and coffee). No reason you wouldn't be happy there.

Of course, the real charm of St John is not the resort you stay at...its the beaches, snorkling, diving, hiking, eating in town, visiting the east end, taking a day trip to another island, enjoing the sunset with a cocktail, etc., etc. Be sure to check everything out while you're there.

I have a Question about the Westin in St. John. How long is the transfer from the St. Thomas airport to the Westin? Our travel agent says it's a 3.5 to 4 hour affair but that seems long to me. Thanks
