I've just decided recently to get married in St Thomas. With the recommendation from a friend I called up Island Bliss Weddings and spoke with Janelle. My friend had nothing but good things to say about the process and day of her wedding. So far I'm feeling really good about this choice because its been really stress free and an easy process. Has anyone else been married in St Thomas or know about Island Bliss Weddings?
You have nothing to worry about - the Scotts have been doing this for several years and have a very good reputation. The wedding planners here do a very good job all around and take away all the stress of trying to plan a destination wedding. Relax and look forward to enjoying a wonderful day and a great honeymoon!
Hello,
My daughter was married on St. Thomas in October of 2009. We were on a cruise ship and St. Thomas was one of the stops. The wedding arrangments were through the Wedding Planner on the ship. She was married on the beach at Bolongo Bay Resort. Let me know if you have any other questions.
There's a magazine strictly for VI weddings, and I don't think a cruise ship planner could offer the selection of diversified specialty weddings that an on island planner can. There are remote, secluded islands and specialty weddings that they probably aren't aware of.
Nowadays people are exchanging vows in many settings, and an on-site planner is the more personal way to go IMO.
