Hello Everyone,
First, just wanted to say thank you for a great message board. Just reading this board helps take me back to the islands!

We are getting married on St. John at the end of May also! Everything is pretty much planned. It is going to be a rather large group for an island wedding, about 50,but it should be fun. My questions is regarding steel pan players. We were hoping to have one or two play for three to four hours at the reception. We tentatively have someone, but I am not sure if we might be able to get a better rate. Does anyone have ideas of cost for this type of entertainment? We have gone through the resort for this booking, and I just wanted to check into other options.

One more question...is it dry and brown there right now? We are annual November visitors and have never been there in May. Our friends just returned and said that everything is pretty brown. Just checking out the situation...I am sure it is beautiful no matter what! Can't wait to get there. Thanks in advance for your help!

Meigan

Hi! We are paying $275/hour for one drummer through our planner.
