We have called Voyages for a dinner reservations for 8 (off the menu, no special arrangements in particular). But, they haven't been so great getting back with us on phone calls, etc. I also heard they are up for sale now. Wedding is in mid July, can anyone offer any info on Voyages. Were they good? Good views? Thanks

Voyages is hit or miss.
I ate there for Valentines and it took two and a half hours to eat two courses and a piece of cheesecake. They had two people working the floor, one of which was a bus boy turned waiter...LUCKY US....that was our server. The food was pretty good but pretty average for the island. Service was atrocious. All of the consolidated restaurants have turned over head chef within the last two and a half months so I dont recommend them(Asolare, Chateau Bordeaux, Paradiso, Chloe and Bernards). Plus, I worked for them and they treated me very unfairly as they do with most of their employees.
It sounds like you are looking for something really nice. I guess your best option would be Stone Terrace. I think they will treat you well. ZoZos is an option but they are more of a quick turn over place. I am starting to work today at the Turtle Bay Estate House restaurant as the chef de partie. If you want more info on the option there, you can go to caneelbay.com. They require a coat for the guys and it is supposed to be the only true fine dining place on St. John. You need to reserve a spot early because they do run other wedding parties out of there. I am sure the prices are comparable to Stone Terrace or other high end restaurants. It is worth a shot and you dont have to be a guest at the resort to eat there. 🙂 Hope I helped. I will know more after a few days working there! 😉
