Good Morning ,
I am hoping that someone who has already tried the Island wedding experience would be able to answer a question for us. We are getting married on ST. Thomas on April. It is a very small and group of 6. I have not been able to find a Bakery as of yet. Possible in the RED HOOK area of town. Does anyone know if there is such a store, with elegant cakes for sale for this occassion? Please any comments will be greatly appreciated. Ciao from cold Chiacago!

Hello Bill & Tanja,
Frank's Bake shop comes to mind, but they are in Subbase... just outside of Charlotte Amalie (which is St. Thomas' town) heading west toward the airport. (Red Hook is on the east end of the island. Its about a 25-30 minute drive depending on traffic.)
Their number is (340)714-2253

have you tried the deli at marina market at red hook? we had all our son's wedding reception food prepared there, and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. the cake itself was provided by the wedding coordinator (weddings the island way), but i have seen the deli workers at marina decorating cakes, so i assume they do wedding cakes as well.
Hello-
I'm getting married in March and have been doing some searching as well....
My friends own Bumpa's in Charlotte Amalie and they said the marina market makes an awesome pineapple carrot cake. But I also found a lady with a great wedding cake list- basically "create your own". Her name is Shelly; her email is [email protected]. Have her email you her menu- she cateres too.
