We want to get married on ST. Croix around August 8. It is just my fiancee and I so we need to hire witnesses. Nothing terribly fancy. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you getting married on the beach? My husband and I were on the beach and were witnesses for 2 different weddings last time we were down. We just happened to be there at the time and were convenient, I guess. Just signed the paperwork. The wedding officiant approached us, so maybe you can ask who ever is doing your wedding what they normally do. I don't think you would have to hire witnesses.

good luck and have fun!
