Thanks for the info I'll have to set a time with my son to watch the one in Cruz bay so we can wave at him I bet we could be on our cell phone with him at the same time. I don't know if that would make him happy or mad because he couldn't make it.

I bet he'd be happy! It's exciting to see someone you know on the webcam. If you ask St. John Ruth real nice, I bet if she has time she'd even capture your picture while you're on camera so you can keep the memory! 🙂

I'll have to ask her we always seem to get in her shop a couple times a trip just love the smell of the place.

I talked to my son last night gave him the wab cams address he say's he can't wait to see us on it . It will make him feel like he is part of the trip

I guess I asked this on the wrong topic last week:
Where is the STJ camera when I am on the Cruz Bay dock? Will I see it? I'm trying to line up the dock position and picture height now so when we arrive I can wave or point at it or something.

The St. John webcam is mounted under the 2nd floor eaves of the Dockside Bldg. where St. John Spice is located (on your right) as you walk toward shore from the ferry. If I can find a picture I'll post it for you. It's easy to see once you know where it is!

Ruth and Ron have opened their childrens store in the space where the camera is located, so they now have two stores up those stairs!

I'm not sure what I would do with the info since I couldn't see myself when we get to the dock BUT sitting here at home I'm always on the wrong side of the camera. I guess I see others and in a month or so someone at the right moment will see me.

Yes, they are very addicting! I am already addicted to 2 forums. With these web cams added I may never get any work done! I have over 7 months to wait until STJ !

Ok, here's a picture of the webcam. Look for the yellow circle with the arrow! See? Once you know where it is, it's easy to spot!

What do you mean what happened to Cruz Bay? That's the Cruz Bay webcam. But it's a picture of the CAM not the bay. If you want to see the bay, then you have to go to the webcam page. 🙂
