We are coming on Saturday to STJ for a week, how has the weather been the last couple of days? Everything I see says rain. Is this true? Does it rain all day or just a little then the sun comes out? We are spending a couple of days on a boat to the BVI's are we headed for some trouble?
Thanks!
I wouldn't listen to the weather reports we get up here because they just aren't accurate. I just got back from the islands this wednesday and on St. thomas it had rained buckets from what I was told the week before I had arrived. While I was there it rained one morining off and on until about noon and then cleared out nicely, and rained the other day until about 8 am. All the times I've been down there I would expect a little rain but nothing that ruins a vacation. I guess to sum it up expect brief showers here and there.
I heard we are in for more rain this coming Sunday (radio report) and ck'd out the Atlantic Loop. Keep your fingers crossed!
For those that will be coming down starting NOW, the mosquitoes are out in full swing from all of our past rain, SOoooo be prepared! Some area's better than others! Remember, this is not the norm!
Last year we went in June and decided to walk from Sapphire to the Ritz when the sky opened up. I have never been so wet! But we were NOT cold! We just kept walking. It rained a couple of times while we were there but not for very long.
Today: BEAUTIFUL...SUN and slight breeze. No rain. Spent all day at Magen's Bay Beach and the water was beautiful and flat. Tomorrow is forecast to be the same.
