I need some help in the weather forecast for September 2005.
We have to change our holiday from November to September and I want to know what the forecast is for hurricanes etc etc
According to the National Hurricane Center forecast, this is going to be another above average year, with several severe storms forecast. Prime season is late August to early October, although I understand the VI doesn't often get hit.
You'll probably experience more rain in Sept. Nobody can really predict hurricanes or lack thereof.
I honeymooned on STT in Sept. I recall very unpredictable days....rain in the AM and sun in the afternoon, etc.
Go with the flow....and don't give up on the entire day if you wake up to rain and clouds. Things change quickly.
Hello Michelle,
August & September are 'more active' months of hurricane season which runs June through November. November is the rainiest of all the months followed by October then September then August. July, August, September are the hottest months for us...yes yes I know its hot all year round here and temperatures fluctuate only a little bit, but those months are warmer and often the breezes are more still. That said we have beautiful days in September as well as possiable rainy days as well as the possibility of storms/hurricanes.
You might click on the Weather link at the top, right corner of this page for monthly averages and information.
