Hello,
I am leaving on March 5-12 for St. Croix. I was wondering how much it rains down there and what the weather is like. Does the rain last for long?

Check here:
http://www.weather.com
and add this to the end of the link in your address bar:
/activities/other/other/weather/climo-monthly-graph.html?locid=USVI0001&from=search
Or go to the top right of the page and click on weather. The highs will be in the mid 80's and the lows will be in the mid to low 70's. There will be a chance of rain every day, but it won't last long and probably won't bother you at all.
Hey! That sure beats going to some other page! Sheesh! If I would only pay attention! haha!
Hey,
Bring a light sweater or jacket though because the tradewinds are constant and make some evenings wonderfully cool. Besides that the airlines sometimes get darned cold. I usually pull my light jacket over my head to catch a wink and dream of the islands.
When you get to the weather page above, it defaults to St. Thomas (big surprise!) but you can change the location each time and type in Christiansted to give you the St. Croix weather. It can make a difference at times.
I agree with Sandcrab on the light jacket at night. Most restaurants and clubs are open air and can get cool sometimes especially if you have a bit of sunburn healing up.
Have a great time.....we did!!!
