We are thinking about planning our next vacation for mid June when the kids are out of school and I was wondering what the weather is like on St. Johns island? Is there a rainy season? We tend to always get lousey weather on our vacations and I was really hoping to avoid the rain this time! Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Click the "Weather" link in the upper right portion of the screen. St. John (no "S") is listed in there, too. Rain happens almost daily, but not like people from America are used to. Typically beautiful weather, then a cloud comes by and dumps down some rain for 10 minutes, then beautiful weather again.

Are there alot of bugs in June? I'm concerned about renting a villa (Villa Capiz) that has an open air type greatroom.

Bugs don't know what month it is here. If there has been a lot of rain the previous weeks, yes the bugs will be bad. If it's been dry, they won't be bad. Put on some Avon Skin So Soft and you should be fine. Burn a citronella candle or two. Turn on a fan. These will help. But, honestly, Bill, I wouldn't be too concerned.
