What's the weather like on St. John in late May/early June?

Any reason for hurricane concerns at that time?

Weather is fairly consistent year-round on STJ. So expect mid-80s during the day, and cooling off a bit at night. Also, the water temp should be on the rise (although never cold 🙂 )

Hurricanes? The Atlantic hurricane season is officially from June 1st to November 30th. There is nothing magical in these dates, and hurricanes have occurred outside of these six months. I wouldn't expect too much activity that early in the season, but keep an eye on the weather channel.

Good luck,

Peak hurricane season runs from mid-August through September. We're pretty hurricane-phobic and stay out of the Caribbean during that time, but wouldn't worry at all in May/June.

Nice time to come. Everything seems to be more in bloom then & it's not so crowded. I leave island on vacation around then & never even think of closing my hurricane shutters.

I don't think you'll have to worry about hurricanes - but i think May is the rainy month (second to the hurricane months). I have come in June on many occasions and the weather has been great earlier in the month - but humid and hot as you get closer to the end of June.

Hope that helps. Check the weather charts and rainfall charts on this site.
