We are planning a sailing holiday to the Virgin Islands for the last 2 weeks of August and we need to know the average wind strength and sea conditions at this time as we have inexperienced sailors on board. We are concerned that there may be a lot of swell and strong winds especially in the afternoon. Please could someone let me know straight away as we have to book in the next couple of days.
We would be very grateful,

Nick Dobbs

The weather at the end of August is not in particular any different than the rest of the year with the exception that the winds may be a little less than anticipated and the seas pretty calm UNLESS you encounter one of the tropical systems that time of year. Come down and have a great time but please look into trip insurance. If you need references for trip insurance ask your broker, the boat owner, your charter company or email me.
