I keep seeing on weather.com that there is supposed to be scattered showers every day this week in St Croix. Does anyone know if this is common (ie it rains every morning) or is this because of the Tropical Strom Zeta? We arrive on Monday and are hoping for a week in the sun !

Weather.com always says it's raining in USVI. I believe they practice severe CYA. Seriously though, it is not uncommon to get passing showers. They do not last long (30 min max), provide greenery and more importantly, water to drink.
Do not be concerned with lack of sun. Bring your sun screen and have a great time.
