I've been checking the weather forcast St.Thomas on the days preluding to my visit. While the weather looks a lot more appealing than what I'm accustomed to in Iowa, it does say chance of rain EVERY day. Does it usually rain all the time there? Just wondering if I need to bring an umbrella?

Rain is usually limited to passing showers. That said, the month of May is one of the wetter months so they may occur more often or tke longer to pass.
My usual comment is '30% chance of rain means 70% chance of sunshine".

Chris was kind enough to respond to the same question I asked it a few weeks ago. And afer my visit I can say Chris was right too. (not that i didn't trust you Chris 😉 ) What we ended up doing was bringing 1 or 2 disposable ponchos...not for us..but to cover our towels and cameras if there was a passing downpour while we were on the beach (we never needed it... we were always either eating or 'en route' when the rain hit and were done or there by the time it stopped...)
