We are coming down to St. Thomas 7-21-7-28 for our honeymoon. Should we be worried about the storm out in the Atlantic? We're praying it doesn't turn into anything major. Any insight would be helpful.
We're looking forward to a week of relaxation, snorkeling, and enjoying our honeymoon together.
Thanks.

Heck, no, don't be worried! Come on down, just as you planned, and if a storm comes, it'll make a great story to tell for the rest of your lives....if a storm doesn't come...you were in the VI for your honeymoon! You'll have great stories for the rest of your lives! Don't even give it a second thought....I'm not...and I've lived here for over 10 years and seen a coupla 'canes....come on down and enjoy your honeymoon!
i wouldn't worry, but I wouldn't ignore the storm either. By 7/21 you'll know where it's going.
You can track any weather on Weathercarib.com -- the system you mention is likely to pass to the S -- Fri?Sat.
I don't remember any 'Canes' in the last 10 years though.
Really? You don't remember Georges? Wrong-Way Lenny? Debbie?

I remember! Jose' and Lenny were very close in time to each other! Somehow forgot Debbie, guess we prepared, but wasn't much happening?
Nothing since then, lets hope we can get thru another year! 😮
