Can anyone out there tell me if there is still a watersports vendor at Sapphire Beach Resort? It has been a few years since I've lived in STT, but I remember a vendor offering watersports equipment and jetski rentals. My son will be traveling to STT Feb 4th for vacation and he would like to spend some time on Sapphire Beach...he always liked that beach.

There were two jet ski rental vendors operating out of the marina at Sapphire in November when we stayed there. I think I remember a vendor on the beach as well but I don't remember what they were renting.

The one on the beach did have a couple jet skis...but i never saw them go out. Only out of the Marina. The beach has kayaks and those sit upon things that you have to pedal.

Jay what week were you there?

Connie's right. I think the jet skis by the Watersports Shack are for advertisement. The jet Skis go out of the Marina there. They also have wind surfer rigs at the beach shack. There is a Para-sail out of the Marina as well.

The water sports place is called DIVE IN and has most things that involve water. Mats, floats, snorkels, wind surfers, sun fish, chairs, kayacs etc. The power stuff like jet skis rent out of the marina. There is also para sailing.

Thanks everyone for the info...I really appreciate it. I did some more digging today and was able to find out that the vendor located on the beach will book reservations for the 2 jet ski vendors who rent out of the marina.
