Watergate Villas were great! We were put there when Bolongo Bay Resort, next door overbooked. Initially disappointed to not be where we had thought we should be, we soon realized what an awesome stroke of luck it was! Just what we wanted........an oceanview for candlelite dinners on the balcony or quiet sunrises in the morn with my own brewed coffee, clean,lovely,quiet. Nice beach, but the water was a little rough for our visit. While we did do some snorkeling there, we rented a car and checked out many other beaches.There are three restaurants within walking distance, all wonderful! Nice staff. Oh, yes, we could hear the waves lapping the shore all night. This year we are trying Antilles Sapphire Beach. Always have to try something new........and always afraid we'll never recapture how great the last place was! Enjoy! Eternally drawn to the ocean...Wendy, Minnesota
