Can any one tell me how far WICO dock is to CA dock. I want to take the ferry to Water Island and we will be docking in WICO. Are the ferries reliable. Only have a small window of opportunity. Thank you.
As RockyDock mentioned in previous post, catch a taxi from WICO to Crown Bay Marina. Local residents depend on the Water Island ferry and so you also can depend on it. It runs on time. Depending on traffic you're probably looking at a 10-15 minute taxi ride from WICO to Crown Bay marina (it's not the distance but rather the traffic and stoplights). Once on Water Island, if you're planning to go to Honeymoon Beach, Colors of Paradise TV (on this web page under "Extras") has a video that will show you first hand the short walk from the ferry to Honeymoon Beach. If you're planning on venturing further on Water Island, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Enjoy your day!
