Woke up to 4 below zero wind chill this morning in Iowa after a system dumped some snow and strong winds yesterday. We had 70 degrees and tornados Saturday!! I hope this system misses all of you on the east coast. I looked at the temps in the USVI and I absolutely can't wait for Friday when we arrive in paradise on St John! Thanks to everyone for all the great info on this board - I am addicted!! Don't think I will get much work done today.....

Thanks alot for the warning for us up neear Boston! Oh joy, I can hardly wait. Sooooo much better to be freezing my butt off than enjoying the warmth of STJ like we were all last glorious week-NOT!!! Talk about addictions- yikes, if my boss kept track of how often I read this Board, I'd be fired!!

Woke up to 66 degree temp and see that we might have a high of 84 today. Low tonight about 49 degrees. Unfortunately, pool is too cool now.

Thank goodness my mother had the sense to move us kids, a long time ago, to a warm climate without seasons.

Thanks
So far in Virginia it is very overcast & windy with thunderstorms on the way. Of course they been saying this now for 2 days & no rain or thunder. But it is suppose to get colder tonight into the weekend. To think I would have been in St Thomas but had to cancel due to husband going in for tests that he need me to take him. Better to cancel than to lose a long time husband who is a very caring person to me & son. To those who are going have a great time !! Happy Thanksgiving in advance !

Ok, Chris, you can rub that in too!!! I cried getting there, I cried leaving, and have been out of sorts since, dammit!! The place grows on 'ya so yes, I am addicted but am weaning off very slowly. My plan is to check only at scheduled hours then wean off each hour until its only a few times a week. Wish me luck!!! THIS IS THE LAST CHECK TODAY FOR EXAMPLE.....

I wish(?) you better luck than me as I have failed(?) miserably with a similar plan. Of course, I can't say I've really tried all that hard...it's in the blood don't ya know! 🙂
